The npm package routing-controls was found to contain malware. GitHub Security Advisory GHSA-jmhh-mvpj-27qq documents the incident.\n\nAccording to the advisory, any computer that has this package installed or running should be considered fully compromised. All secrets and keys stored on affected computers should be rotated immediately from a different, unaffected system.\n\nWhile the package should be removed, complete remediation cannot be guaranteed due to the potential for the malware to have granted full control of the system to an outside entity, meaning additional malicious software may persist beyond package removal.\n\nAffected package: routing-controls (npm).
