A malicious npm package named @gocortexio/npmgremlinbox-cc-by-sa-2-0-uk was published to the npm registry. The package contains malware that provides attackers with full control of any system on which it is installed or executed.
According to the GitHub Security Advisory (GHSA-9wg7-9rv7-xv2h), any computer running this package should be considered fully compromised. The advisory recommends immediate rotation of all secrets and keys from a different, uncompromised computer.
