A malicious npm package, @gocortexio/npmgremlinbox-cc-by-nc-3-0-de, was identified and published on GitHub's advisory database. The package contains malware that grants full control of the host system to an outside entity upon installation or execution.\n\nAny computer with this package installed or running should be considered fully compromised. All secrets, keys, and credentials stored on affected systems must be rotated immediately from a different, uncompromised computer.\n\nWhile the package should be removed, complete remediation cannot be guaranteed due to the level of system access the malware may have obtained.
