Malware in fs-extra-master
The npm package fs-extra-master was found to contain malware, resulting in full system compromise of any computer with the package installed. All secrets and keys should be rotated immediately from a different computer, and the package should be removed.

The npm package fs-extra-master was identified as containing malware. According to the GitHub Advisory (GHSA-cg95-x585-4q9p), any computer with this package installed or running should be considered fully compromised.
The advisory recommends that all secrets and keys stored on affected computers be rotated immediately from a different, uncompromised system. While the package should be removed, there is no guarantee that removal will eliminate all malicious software that may have been installed as a result of the initial compromise.
This represents a critical supply chain attack through a malicious npm package, with potential for complete system takeover on any affected installation.
