A critical malware incident has been identified in the npm package @ai-agent-node/agent-node. According to the GitHub Security Advisory (GHSA-h95p-8cf6-7qrc), any computer with this package installed or running should be considered fully compromised.\n\nThe advisory indicates that the malicious code grants outside entities full control of affected systems. All secrets and keys stored on compromised computers should be rotated immediately from a different, unaffected system. While the package should be removed, there is no guarantee that removal will eliminate all malicious software that may have been installed as a result of the initial compromise.\n\nThis represents a critical supply chain attack through a compromised npm package targeting AI agent node deployments.
